Our History

Locally based in North Bend, Century Roofing was founded in 1970 and has grown steadily over the years to serve more homeowners throughout Seattle and the Eastside.

Formerly known as A&B Roofing the company was originally named after its founders (Anderson and Brown), and was formed as an offshoot of Butter’s Mill, a cedar shake and shingle mill founded in the late nineteenth century. Current owner, Tom Pritchett, bought the company in 1997.

Why did A&B become Century? While the A&B name had been around for a long time, it didn’t say much about us. We wanted a name that would exemplify what we stand for—long-lasting craftsmanship. Though the name may have changed, the business hasn’t. Our commitment remains the same.

Century Roofing builds dependable residential replacement roof that add to the life of your home. We use high-quality shingles and run a self-contained operation that lets us control every step of the process. Few established roofers can beat us on price for the quality we offer
